On Sunday 20th October, I attended the finals of the Beauty Industry Awards 2019 with Creative Oceanic. I had my Mom, Dad, sister and boyfriend there with me for support (and food).
First of all, thank you to each and every one of you that voted for me to be in the finals - I wouldn't have gotten this far without you. Secondly, thank you to my Mom for being my assistant and cleaning my kit and brushes at weddings with bigger bridal parties. Last but not least, to the judges for taking their time to look into my business - it means a lot!
My sister, Grace, wanted to video me. Personally, I was afraid that the video would catch my disappointment. They read out the highly commended beauty professional and instantly, to me, that was that.
